Here at Abbeydale care home, we offer a selection of tastefully presented mini-apartments which are expertly designed with comfort in mind. Each apartment boasts an open plan layout with a homely living area, with a Satellite TV and telephone (at resident’s expense), and a comfy bedroom area with a single bed.

Rooms are spacious and fully adaptable to resident’s individual needs, with the majority being double the recommended size for care home accommodation. Each apartment is also fitted with a 24-hour nurse call system so residents can rest assured help is on hand whenever they need it.

​

Most apartments are equipped with fully accessible en-suite facilities with either a wet room or a bathroom. We also have five apartments which lead out onto a garden terrace, enabling residents to admire our award-winning gardens right from the comfort of their room!

In addition, there are four luxury suites which are our most spacious form of accommodation. These enjoy larger living areas, with two offering separate bedrooms and two enjoying stunning high ceilings and bay windows which also overlook Abbeydale’s impressive gardens. 

​

We understand that the smallest details matter the most, which is why we encourage residents to personalise their rooms with items from home. This includes personal belongings and small items of furniture so that every resident feels right at home.

Ensuite

These have been described as ‘mini-apartments’ and at 18m2 are far more spacious than most nursing home rooms with lounge, bedroom and bathroom divided into three separate areas.

The same style ‘mini-apartments’ as with the Ensuite but with access to a 70 m2  terrace overlooking the gardens.

Luxury Suite

These spacious suites are located in both the old and the new wings of the building and are on the ground and first floor.  The two in the old wing have high ceilings and bay windows overlooking the gardens.  The two in the new wing have separate bedrooms.

Prices and availability

Rooms can differ in size, view and décor. The cost of your room will depend on those variants. Through our assessment process we will be able to provide an accurate quote for you. Typically rooms  start at around £950-£1150 per week. Payment is required monthly in advance.

 

Our rooms turn over relatively slowly and availability is invariably subject to a waiting list. We therefore advise that if you or your family member is interested in taking up residence at Abbeydale care home, you put your name down as early as possible.
